MetodoRUS

Frequently asked questions

What is MetodoRUS, and who is it for?

MetodoRUS is my educational project for learning Russian. Learning begins with international words you may already recognise and continues with explanations, illustrations, and practical exercises. The project is designed for beginners, people who want to refresh their knowledge, and those who need Russian for professional purposes.

Can I start if I don’t know any Russian?

Yes. MetodoRUS Start is designed to guide you through your first steps in Russian. Getting familiar with the alphabet and using easily recognisable words helps you gradually build a foundation for reading, understanding, and communicating.

What is the difference between MetodoRUS Start and MetodoRUS Restart?

MetodoRUS Start is for those who are beginning to learn Russian. MetodoRUS Restart is for those who have studied it before and want to refresh their vocabulary and communication skills through a structured programme of 30 lessons.

Which languages are the explanations available in?

The materials come in editions with explanations in Romanian, English, and German, while the learning content is in Russian.

Can I study independently, or do I need a teacher?

You can use the materials for independent study at your own pace. Sessions with a teacher help you work through difficulties, improve your pronunciation, and practise conversation. You can combine independent study with guided sessions according to your needs and goals.

How do I choose the right materials for my level and goals?

If you are starting from scratch, you can choose MetodoRUS Start. If you have studied Russian before and want to refresh your knowledge, MetodoRUS Restart may be suitable. For workplace communication, explore the “Russian for Your Profession” series.

How do individual online sessions work?

Sessions take place online and are tailored to your level, pace, and goals. We work with explanations, exercises, and conversation.

Are there Russian learning materials for my profession?

MetodoRUS includes the “Russian for Your Profession” series, featuring vocabulary and practical situations from various fields.
